Thin in places
First pitch was possible on either side, running water in middle. Other pitches ok. Penultimate pitch had pool at bottom. Dry tooled across from right at about M4+. Goulotte in good condition. Last pitch in good condition. Good track up and then right to gain GR.
Met Charles and Elouise, very friendly climbers.Also guide Pascal and his client.
Unfortunately a large group from a club in Grenoble were unprofessional and inconsiderate of other climbers. Climbing directly under people (picks in your crampon marks as soon as you lift your heel!), Going across,over and under other team’s rope, pushing people at belays instead of waiting, letting beginners lead when they are clearly not ready (falling off ice is not cool, Google ‘ Will Gadd -Ice climbing is NOT rock climbing’ , laughing and playing around at belays when people need to listen for climbing calls.
If an instructor in Scotland or North America led a course in this way he or she would be dismissed.
