Gabi – Ghost (Cascata)

The cold temperatures of the week before caused Ghost and Scott to reform. We checked out Scott first but the first pitch appeared unprotectable so we switched to Ghost. A thin layer of ice everywhere made the climb more exciting than the grade would suggest. In particular the final column of the 2nd pitch exit before the belay was delicate.

Great climb with Francesco and a real surprise to find it reformed, a week ago it was only water. I doubt it but if anyone climbs it again please have a look for two screws in the final column. We forgot them and were too knackered to go back up and get them when we realised.
