La Linnaea, owned by the Société académique de Genève, occupies the top of a hill that dominates the village of Bourg-Saint-Pierre (altitude 1689 m) in the Val d’Entremont on the site of the former Château de Quart.

The garden houses a perfectly equipped chalet that can accommodate 19 people all year round with 4 bedrooms with 4 beds and one with 3 beds, toilets (4 WCs, 3 showers and 7 sinks), a kitchen and a large living room. Each bed is equipped with a mattress, a pillow and a fitted sheet. Participants must bring a sleeping bag and a pillowcase. The chalet is exclusively rented to a single group or family per rental period.

RATES

– CHF 27/person per night
– CHF 30 per person per night for a single weekend from Saturday 9am to Sunday 6pm
– Depending on the age of the children, the price is different
– Accommodation and tourist taxes included
– Final cleaning rate according to the number of participants

 

ACCESSES

Bourg-Saint-Pierre is accessible in summer and winter by car or by train and then by bus.

By car: direction Col du Grand Saint-Bernard, the chalet is located at the exit of the village of Bourg-Saint-Pierre on the right just before entering the gallery in front of the tunnel.

By train: to Martigny, then by post bus: Martigny-Le Grand-St-Bernard, stop at “Bourg-St-Pierre-Commune”. Check the timetable on www.cff.ch or at the station (approx. 4 buses/day).

Parking: Vehicles must be parked on the esplanade above the access road to the chalet, at the level of the Grand-Saint-Bernard Pass road, near the entrance to the gallery.

Parking on the access road to the chalet, in the bend and from the old road upstream of the former customs building, is strictly prohibited.

Access to the chalet is by foot (5 minutes).

The village’s restaurants are happy to prepare picnics for hiking.
