Our hotel is opened from the 1st of June to 15th of October. The Col of the Gd – St – Bernard is a very beautiful place with a history old of more than 2000 years.

It has been discovered by Romans that, made a sacred place, dedicated to the God Jupiter, of it at the time. Later, St Bernard de Menthon constructed a Hospice there to welcome all passersby and pilgrims. Today, you can visit the Museum relating the history of the Gd – St – Bernard and its Hospice there, the doghouse with the famous dogs of the St Bernard, a magnificent church inside the hospice as well as a room of treasures that contains presents offered by personalities having stayed to the Col. Besides, on a clear day, the view on the Alps and on the lake of the Gd – St – Bernard remained an unforgettable moment for nature lovers.

The possibility to make numerous pedestrian excursions in an alpine decor of all beauty offers itself you. Our hotel was once appendix of the hospice and has been renovated entirely with care and seal in 1998. We are able to welcome groups until 90 people for meals and we can lodge about 60 people in comfortable rooms with toilets and shower. We have two restaurants, one with 80 places, another with 50 places, a snack-bar with 50 places and a terrace with view on the lake and the Alps with 80 places. A shop with tobacco, office of change, Swiss chocolate , numerous models of dogs in plush, barrels in wood, liqueur of the St Bernard, etc are also to your disposition. Following mode of payement are welcome : CHF – Euros – Dollars Used Visa – Mastercard – Eurocard. Dogs are accepted.
